So long piste maps!!

Piste maps are great when you are visiting a new resort and you don’t know your way around, but opening one in the wind and trying to get the stupid thing folded back up can be a really annoying. iTrailMap is an iPod Touch/iPhone app that will allow you download a piste map of the Ski / Snowboard Resort you want to ride. You can pan and zoom the whole map just like Google Maps.

Pros: Easy to use, many maps to download, can be used without internet connectivity or phone service

Cons: Some of the maps when zoomed in are blurry and hard to read, can’t be used with a glove on.

Price: FREE

FILTH

Hey everyone,

Do someone a big favour, go and vote for UNITY Productions FILTH. It was made in 1 week around the UK, and has been quoted as "the most gangster edit i've ever seen from the UK" - Eddie "Slavemonkey" Thelwell.

Do the guys the favour of voting, they'll win a holiday to Morzine where a sequel to FILTH will be filmed.

Just Passin' Thru, UK Tour

Some of you may already know, but then I bet a hell of alot of you haven't yet heard.

Tom Wallisch is touring around the UK!!!

After the London Freeze event, Tom Wallisch is teaming up with his Jiberish buddies Mike Clarke and Matt Walker to take a little 2 stop tour around the UK. On Monday the 2nd Nov, they will be heading to Chill Factore, Manchester. The stop includes a signing session, a pro demo and a chance for all the uk kiddies to ride with their favorite afterbang hero. Make sure to get there for 6 o'clock on the dot for the signing session.
They are then heading all the way up north to Bearsden in Glasgow. I'm especially excited to see how long it's going to take for these boys to get used to ripping on Snowflex apposed to the real stuff. Again, make sure that you're there for 6 to get your skis, posters or even your skin touched by Toddy Wallnuts.

There has been some questioning to why the tour stops are in Chill Factore not Castleford, and why Bearsden not some other equally equipped dryslope. But I'm excited to see what Chill Factore can pull out of the bag on this one. I bet it's gonna be a stonker!! Oh and recently revealed, these events are now free!! turn up and shred with the pros!!!!!

Hey Everybody,

It's sure to be a wicked night and the afterparty is going to be off the chain, from 10pm till late at The Langley with free champagne for the first 100 guests into the bar!!

Then starting on the Wednesday 21st til Sunday 25th the Metro Ski and Snowboard Show is always a great place to kick off the winter season. With demo's from britains best skiers and snowboarders, the best of british competition on friday and then the London Ride on the saturday. You can be sure to see some great snowsports action. Don't forget about snowbombing first streetparty on the saturday night, this is sure to get messy.

And for the people that missed it last year, The London Freeze is returning to Battersea Power Station on the 29th October. Make sure to head down for the Battle of Britain competition on Friday the 29th, the International Snowboard Big Air on saturday 30th and then the International Ski Big air on the 1st Nov. Make sure you stick around the music tents during the days as there is also more music acts than you can shake a stick at.
